Ryan Gosling, Mikey Day go as Beavis and Butt-Head at ‘Fall Guy’ premiere

Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day are still having fun with their alter egos from “Saturday Night Live,” making a surprise appearance as Beavis and Butt-Head on the red carpet of “The Fall Guy” premiere in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

Gosling first showed up to the event looking himself in a mint green Gucci suit, while posing for photos with co-star Emily Blunt. But he reemerged sometime later sporting the blond pompadour wig and “Death Rock” T-shirt of his character, Beavis.

The stunt was a nod to his ‘SNL’ hosting gig from April 13, during which he and Day starred in a now-viral sketch as two men who just so happen to bear striking similarities to the ’90s animated TV characters.

While attending an open-panel discussion on artificial intelligence, the two characters catch the attention of Kenan Thompson’s character, the event’s key-note speaker, so much so that he’s unable to carry on with his talk.

Many social media users heralded the sketch as one of SNL’s funniest moments in years, as evidenced by cast member Heidi Gardner’s inability to contain her laughter during the performance.

Video of the sketch has been watched more than 13 million times on YouTube.

“The Fall Guy,” set to hit theaters May 3, stars Ryan Gosling as down-and-out stuntman Colt Seavers, who must locate the missing star of his ex-girlfriend’s blockbuster movie.
