Morgan Wallen has been sentenced to a week of incarceration and two years’ probation after pleading guilty to throwing a chair from the roof of a bar in Nashville, Tennessee. On Thursday, a Nashville judge ordered the country music star to serve a seven-day incarceration at a DUI education center, and sentenced him to two years’ probation for each of his misdemeanor charges for reckless endangerment. Wallen also has to pay a fine of $350 and court fees. “Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved,” his attorney Worrick Robinson IV said in a statement to People magazine. “Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation.” The singer was initially arrested on April 7 after throwing a chair from the roof of Chief’s Bar in Nashville. Per court records obtained by People, he was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
