Spray the peppermint oil in various parts of your home that mice can enter. If you’re looking to effectively capture mice, spray the peppermint oil in locations that don’t already have a mousetrap.
This should lead the mice to the mousetraps, as it will be one of the few areas that don’t have an overwhelming peppermint scent.
Beware if you have pets or small children when using the essential oil. Many essential oils can be toxic to them.
Be sure that the bottle is out of their reach and try to restrict their access to the sites that you’ve spritzed the peppermint oil at.
