The Harry Potter TV series reboot is currently shooting just outside London, with a cast led by John Lithgow’s Dumbledore.
Producers have teased the show will be closer to book accuracy with the setting taking place in early 1990s, plus storylines and characters missing from the films being explored.
However, some fans have labelled “racist” for calling Paapa Essiedu’s casting as Snape “woke”.
And now this latest rumour comes from reliable leaker Daniel RPK who posted on X: “They’re auditioning both men and women for Voldemort so it’s possible we could see a female Voldemort in the Harry Potter series!”
