Get £105 worth of skincare for £30 with Boots beauty box deal

With summer just around the corner, now could be the perfect time to stock up on quality skincare. A good SPF, nourishing moisturiser, gentle cleanser and a lovely eye cream are deemed to be essentials by many skincare afficionados, but buying a whole new set at once can be eye-wateringly expensive.

However, Boots has a great deal on a collection of essentials with its Spring Skincare Refresh Edit, which contains £105.20 worth of products in a bundle that costs £30. Shoppers can save £75.20 when buying the set compared to buying products individually, and it contains a number of full size products and miniatures all wrapped up in a handy toiletry bag that’s perfect for summer holidays.

Inside, shoppers will find the following:

  • Vaseline – Gluta-Hya Lip Serum Gloss Rosy Pink 10ml – full size
  • The Breakout Hack – Patch It Up Everyday Multi-Size Pimple Patches 72 pcs – full size
  • Boots – Lip Sleeping Mask Grape 20g – full size
  • Biore – UV Aqua Rich Water Essence Sunscreen SPF30 50ml – full size
  • The Inkey List – Hydrating Milk Cleanser 180ml – full size
  • BYOMA – Blemish Control Moisturiser 50ml – full size
  • Boots – Diagonal Bag (limited edition)
  • Haru Haru Wonder – Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence 30ml
  • RoC – Line Smoothing Eye Cream 7.4g
  • Cetaphil – Gentle Skin Cleanser 29ml
  • Cetaphil – Daily Defence Cream SPF50 10g
  • Curel Duo – Intensive Moisture Facial Cream 4g & Curel – Hydrating Water Essence 8ml

With such a wide range of beloved products inside, the set could be a great way to test out trending favourites or stock up on shoppers’ holy grail skincare items. Plus, the minatures are great for stashing in carry-on luggage.

If shoppers wanted to purchase some items separately, they could head to Superdrug for the Biore UV Aqua Water Essence Sunscreen SPF30 50ml, which is currently £9.99 down from £14.99. The moisturising sunscreen is described as ‘weightless’ and provides high sun protection for days out with the family or sunbathing by the pool.

Alternatively, those looking for another set of products could try The Ordinary’s Glass Skin Bundle, which is priced at £35.60 on LookFantastic. This set contains four products: The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser 50ml, The Ordinary Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner 100ml, The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 30ml and The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA 30ml, all of which are said to “enhance radiance and boost moisture”.

However, Boots shoppers are loving the Spring Skincare Refresh Edit. One said: “Boots you really outdone yourself with this one. Perfect products, lovely samples, the bag is lovely quality too!”

Another added: “I got this, the makeup bag itself is so cute! More full sized products then expected, love the tinted vaseline. Great price and opportunity to try new products.”

A third said: “Great spring collection – A fantastic way to use the classic products and to discover new products.A selection of fantastic products and great value.”

However, some were left a tad disappointed. One buyer wrote: “The items were very small and not really the bargin i thought it would be. Try the other boxes, better value for money.”

Another said as part of a longer review: “I like some of the bits I got in this edit, the cleanser is very good, the patches great but I’m afraid my favourite bit was the makeup bag haha, it’s great for makeup brushes, you can see them all when you open it up. I must admit that the size of the Curel minis shocked me (I knew they were deluxe sizes but that wasn’t right) but that is on me for not reading properly.”
