Two people were shot in Queens Friday night on a busy Queens highway, police and sources said.
Responding to a 911 call for an assault, officers found a 26-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her right foot and a 39-year-old man grazed by a bullet on his right foot around 7 p.m. on the eastbound side of Jackie Robinson Parkway off of Exit 5, near 88th St. in Forest Park, according to police.
EMS took both victims to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Cops could not immediately say what sparked the shooting — such as whether it might have been a road rage incident or possible gun accident.
There have been no arrests. Police are investigating.
